About this Project
Campbell has had the opportunity to work with a past client and Alison Dodds Architect on three different apartments in the same building, utilising similar layouts, designs and building expertise, while also maintaining a unique look and feel to each apartment.
South Yarra Apartment Renovation #1
Completed: 2021
While project manager and head carpenter at W.J. Bowie Pty Ltd, Campbell worked with Alison Dodds Architect on a complete renovation and refurbishment of a 2-bedroom apartment in South Yarra, a stone’s throw away from Melbourne’s Royal Botanical Gardens and Domain Road restaurant and coffee strip.
The apartment was in need of a complete renovation to modernise and brighten up the space. To do this, we utilised beautiful crisp white cabinetry, marble-like stone for the kitchen and bathroom and clever LED lighting.
The kitchen is bright and white, with clever cabinetry making for a fantastic storage solution for the small space. The bedrooms and loungeroom also had beautiful new cabinetry, new carpet, light fittings and a gas fireplace installed.
South Yarra Apartment Renovation #2
Completed: 2023
With a very similar layout and aesthetic to renovation #1, Campion Constructions, along with Alison Dodds Architect, were able to replicate another beautifully modern and simple apartment renovation.
The kitchen and bathroom areas were fully renovated, paying homage to Renovation #1’s layout but with slightly different colour schemes. The loungeroom and bedroom areas were refurbished with fresh white paint, new carpet and floorboards, white plantation shutters, lighting fixtures and new gas fireplace.
The outside decking area and stairway, which was previously in a state of disrepair, was also mended and repainted. The back door leading into the kitchen area was also replaced and modernised.
